The South Beach Wine & Food Festival, or SOBEWFF, is an annual star-studded festival hosted by the Food Network and Cooking Channel. This year’s festival runs from February 22-28.
A veritable who’s who of gastronomy, hundreds of chefs will descend on Miami for five days to serve up their best creations. If you’re a foodie, pack your stretchy pants, and head to Miami. Your taste buds will thank you.
About the SOBEWFF Festival
Since its beginnings, SOBEWFF has showcased the talents of some of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities.
The first SOBEWFF event was held in 2002 and drew 7,000 guests. In 2006, the South Beach Wine & Foot Festival partnered with the Food Network and the resulting festival attracted 30,000 guests.
This year’s festival is expected to draw over 65,000 guests to 90 events and will feature over 350 talented personalities.
Some of the renowned chefs from the Food Network that will be in attendance include Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis, Rachael Ray, and Marcus Samuelsson.
The festival benefits the Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.
