ILTM, the International Luxury Travel Market, will host the 15th edition of their annual invitation-only Global Forum in Cannes, France. The event will be held from December 5th – 8th.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Play with Purpose, Leave a Legacy, Live with Love” and the focus is on how to create meaningful relationships with today’s savvy traveller.
New this year, the Global Forum will have it’s own dress code – a touch of red – to exemplify a true “red carpet” event. This is the largest ever edition of ILTM, with over 1500 luxury travel suppliers and 1500 hosted buyers from across the world.
The Global Forum will be hosted by BBC journalist Chris Hollins and will be presented in three chapters. Chapter One: Legacy – How Love Drives Sustainable Success, will be presented by business consultant and speaker James Kerr.
Chapter Two: 21st Century Individualism, will be a question and answer session between Hollins and Stephanie Linnartz, Marriott’s Global Chief Commercial Officer, on travel’s new super brands and how to inspire loyalty in today’s empowered creative class.
Chapter Three: Far and Away, will have author and speaker Andrew Solomon exploring the unfolding of history through the people who are creating and being shaped by it. He will draw from his latest book, Far and Away.
Luxury travel brands (from established hotel brands and resorts to private islands, gastronomic experiences, cruises, spa and safaris) will meet with a similar number of luxury travel planners, designers and agents in over 60,000 one-to-one, pre-scheduled, business appointments.
Over 80 of the world’s elite luxury travel editors will also be hosted at the event.
